Dear Summer* April 28, 2008

Summer has started. Whoo! I need a job. I think I might be getting one soon at the LCBO. I really hope that I can get it. I would so love it. Anyways! I’m getting excited to be making some money. I want to buy a new computer. I’ve been trying to lean about computers and what I want and what I need and what I can afford, blah, blah, blah. I don’t want to spend more than 1G or so before tax. I don’t really run much. I run word processors, internet, photoshop (not on this computer because it really cannot support it), and power points. I really don’t run anything crazy. I’m debating on which OS system to even go to. Should I just stick with XP until Vista gets worked out? I don’t want any of my external drives shutting down or my system to crash. I’ve heard bad things about Windows Vista. I am not getting a Mac. I hate Mac OS. I’ve tried to run it and everyone says it just takes a bit and then it’s easy to navigate around but I’ve been using it on and off for a while and while I can get around it’s annoying and I do not like it. My mom’s husband is an advertising something or another so we have mac’s all over the house. I’ve heard nothing good about Linux so I really don’t know if I wanna switch to that. I also don’t know if I want to switch to Vista. Should I just stick with XP until Vista somehow upgrades? Ughhh! I’ve read so much about computers I think my head is going to explode. I know that whatever I pick I can learn how to get around. Vista would probably be the easiest to switch to. I already know how to work Vista. Well I have a few more months to learn and figure things out. I’m lucky to have computer tech-savy people who let me annoy them to hell and are still nice enough to answer my questions.

Well the search for a new computer has started. If I could only upgrade my computer some how Well I’m thinking about a Sony Vaio possibly. Does anyone know anything about Sony computers? I’m a little lost when it comes to computers. Asus computers seem too expensive but they are pretty. What about an HP computer? Acer seems very….cheap-ish. I’m just so confused. Any suggestions?

Any advice would be nice!

Shopping Time! April 8, 2008

So I went shopping today at the nice mall. I had to buy something for my friend Kaia for her birthday. Shhhhh can’t say what I bought her but yes I bought her something. I hope she likes it. I’m sure she will. Awwwww 17, such a big number! LoL I’m such a dork I’m only turning 19 this summer. 19 WHAT? LoL. Omg I still haveta wait for so friggin’ long until I can drink. Maybe I should do some more self-portraits. I suck at doing them though. I never know when to flip or when to not or when to take it or how to take it. I need to get my smaller camera fixed (Nikon S3) or maybe I’ll just get a new one. With my bulky Nikon D40 (not that I’m not in love with it) is hard to take pictures! They’re…interesting…

See. Interesting. Now only if I could get my face to stop being so retarded. I want to take some glamor pictures of myself. I can’t take ‘em I want to be able to take glamor pictures of other people. Ok! Right! This summer I should practice on my picture taking. Ok right so picture taking. I can do that. Well let’s see what happens throughout the progression of the summer. I’ll keep updating with new pictures I hope I can evolve as a photographer.

And I’m Back! April 7, 2008

Well I’m back to blogging again! Oh sweet jebus a blog? Me. HA! Let’s see how long this lasts shall we? Ok, so I’m probably going to change my blog title because I’m not exactly a big fashionista* LoL. Well this summer I’m going to try my hand at making clothes. Oh boy this should be interesting right? AHHHHH! I’m going to need a first aid kit somewhere close. This summer I also plan on getting more, no strike that, WAY more photo shoots. I’m hoping to develop my photography skills a little bit more. I have a few books and stuff but I really just want to figure out how to use my camera by playing around with it. Also there are a few good tutorials on DeviantArt. I love that site. It’s so nice that people make these tutorials so that clueless people like me can learn a little more.

So this summer! More plans! A job! Yes I would love a job. Everyone seems to only want people who are willing to work a year or more. That just sucks for me because I’m only going home for the summer months. I hope that I get the job as a summer painter. I can paint right? Right! Right? Ok well let’s see if I can get this job. Then there’s also the problem of volunteering. Everywhere good that I would love to volunteer wants a year-round volunteer. I guess next year I could volunteer but I don’t know if I’m going to be around for the entire year. I’m leaning towards trying to find a job over seas. I would love to work in France or Italy or Japan or Australia or….well just about anywhere.

Right! So plans! They are good right? SO! I hand this paper tomorrow and then Wednesday I write my ELPE. I was planning to go see my boyfriend on Friday-Saturday but that doesn’t leave me much time to apply. Maybe I’ll go home and apply the next week. I hope someone hires me
